New Tent! Goodbye Monrovia

The tent finally arrived after what felt like an eternity of planning and endless discussions with family in Berlin. Seriously, I think Lorenz deserves a medal for his packing skills and his patience, he managed to fit everything into a tiny box for DHL Express! It cost an arm and a leg, but hey, you can’t put a price on a Functioning tent in an area full of diseases and Malaria.
We strutted over to the embassy to pick up our precious package, and I can’t express how grateful we are for the German embassy in Monrovia. They’re like the superheroes of the year.
After grabbing our box, we enjoyed a delightful coffee, and continued to the Town.

Sending a package internationally can be a real adventure—stress included! We made a trip to the DHL Center to thank Mohammad, the superhero we heard about from the Embassy. He helped us with the information and tracking for our package, making us feel like we were on a mission to get our treasure safely to its destination.

In the evening, we invited Danile for dinner, where I found Kunafa on the menu that I could not resist eating.
last Time I ate Kunafa was in Beirut and it still the best ever tried .

The Daniel family was very hospitable; we felt like we were at home. Living with them provided us with a different perspective on how people live in Liberia. They have very little and struggle to get by from day to day, yet they still open their homes to strangers, offering them a place to stay.
